Disclaimer

House and Building Maintenance uses professional equipment, proper techniques, and industry-accepted procedures on every project. However, due to the nature of exterior surfaces and existing conditions, certain risks are inherent and outside of our control.

Some surfaces may have pre-existing damage that is not visible prior to cleaning. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Deteriorated siding or wood
  • Loose mortar or failing masonry
  • Weak seals, caulking, or flashing
  • Previously damaged paint or coatings

If a surface or substrate is not structurally sound or capable of handling power or pressure washing, damage may occur once cleaning begins—even if that condition was hidden beneath dirt, grime, or buildup.

House and Building Maintenance is not responsible for damage resulting from underlying defects, age-related deterioration, improper installation, or materials that cannot withstand pressure washing, whether visible or concealed prior to service.

  • We are also not responsible for screens that can not handle washing process, as in rotted, ripped, or not suited for cleaning.
